The new design examines the definition of a luxury hotel in the city and if it’s possible for scale and intimacy; activity and calmness to co-exist harmoniously.
The port cochere, once a large open plaza, was sculpted with landscape, creating a gentle curving passageway which guides guests into the arrival courtyard. Curated soft foliage slowly reveals the space; creating a sense of place and discovery.

Textured landscape walls and lush planting screen away the city, evoking a tranquil, more intimate garden space where time slows down. A terracing lofty canopy in timber complements this; accentuating height while breaking down the large scale of the space. The timber panels are softly lit, creating an exclusive and personal sense of abode.
