PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay
Hotel, Singapore
The landscape design of PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay reimagines Singapore’s garden city vision by seamlessly integrating nature into architecture, transforming the iconic 21-storey atrium into a lush and immersive Garden-in-a-Hotel.
From the moment guests arrive, they are welcomed into a vibrant botanical environment, where native plant species reflect the hotel’s exuberant character and greenery defines the spatial experience.
A dramatic 3-storey green wall forms a verdant backdrop behind the lift core, while 180-degree ascending planters clad in lightweight screens elevate greenery through the atrium. Complementing these features is the extensive planting of 15,000 square feet of trees and shrubs, creating a soft, layered palette that not only enhances the visual experience but also improves indoor air quality.
Guests move through the landscape via a tree-top bridge framed by 6-metre-tall trees, offering a canopy-level view of the gardens below.

Perched along the stepped planters are Bird’s Nests—sculptural, self-supporting garden pavilions inspired by songbirds and shaped through parametric design to wrap organically around their spaces.
Outdoors, the landscape extends to the Pool Deck and Club Lounge, where tropical plantings continue the garden experience. Anchoring the terrace is the striking ‘green inferno’ stone installation—set among dense foliage—as a bold and highly-Instagrammable expression of the hotel’s biophilic vision. Thoughtfully integrated and carefully crafted, the landscape is not just decorative but central to the identity and revitalisation of this urban hotel.
