Located along Aljunied Road in Singapore, 81AR stands in stark contrast to its surrounding utilitarian industrial context. As one drives from MacPherson towards Sims Avenue, the building emerges from a cluster of light industrial structures with a bold and sculptural presence. The project redefines the typology of the local industrial building. Its dark, curvilinear façade introduces a sense of fluidity and architectural expression rarely seen in the area, establishing a new visual identity. In a landscape often dominated by generic and repetitive forms, 81AR asserts itself as a distinctive architectural landmark.
